Calling all Musical Groups & Individuals!
Would you like to perform for the Olympia Downtown Association’s Music in the Park summer concert series? Here’s what you need to do if you want to be considered for the 2013 season:
Beginning December 1, 2012, the Olympia Downtown Association begins the call for talent for the following 2013 summer season.
Submit your talent packet to include the band or individual bio, promotional photo, press release information and most recent music CD postmarked no later than February 15, 2013 to:

Promotional materials will not be returned without a request and self-addressed stamped envelope.
Talent line up will be chosen by mid-March.
Music in the Park is operated by the Olympia Downtown Association, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, so band compensation varies depending on sponsorships and donations. The Olympia Downtown Association follows the non-discriminatory policy, it shall not discriminate against an employee or client on the grounds of race, creed, color, national origin, age, sex, marital status, veteran status, sexual orientation or the presence of any disability.
Eight of the nine concert performances are scheduled Wednesday evenings, 7:00 – 8:00 pm in Sylvester Park located in the heart of downtown Olympia. The ninth concert is performed at the Port of Olympia’s Port Plaza on Friday evening from 7:00 – 8:30 pm.

At Sylvester Park there is a gazebo where the bands set-up to perform. The hexagon shaped gazebo is 17-feet in diameter or approximately 300 square-feet.
